Eliza House Hotel Edinburgh

We loved the vintage charm of Eliza House, it felt like stepping back in time with its old school decor. The location was great, close to public transportation and plenty of nearby restaurants. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere.

That the hotel felt very homey and charming, but in a way that made it feel like nothing was too much trouble.

I had a fantastic stay at Eliza House in Edinburgh. The location was perfect, with easy access to Haymarket Station, tram stops, and bus stops. The room I had was a triple room on the first floor, which was incredibly spacious and had a double bed and a single bed. The room had all the amenities I needed, including tea making facilities, a TV, and plenty of wardrobe space. The bed linen and furniture were clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as dim lighting and outdated furniture, I found the overall experience enjoyable. The hotel's charm, with its quirky decor and traditional building, added to the whole experience. I particularly loved the high ceilings and four-poster bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I would definitely book Eliza House again in the future.

Located in the heart of the city, this hotel is conveniently accessible from both the airport and the Haymarket Tram stop. It is situated just a stone's throw away from the Haymarket train station, making it incredibly convenient for travellers. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with high ceilings, flowery wallpaper, and old-fashioned dressing tables that add a touch of charm. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay. Despite not offering a cooked breakfast, the overall price perfectly aligns with the level of luxury and facilities provided.

The Wi-Fi service is weak and unreliable.

This hotel is great value for money with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, with rooms that are even better than on the picture and very nicely decorated. The staff provides excellent service and the basic amenities are all there, including a comfortable bed. The location is a major plus, being close to the city centre and almost opposite the Haymarket train station.

Great location near train station and tram stop. Kettle, mugs, and spoons in room for coffee/tea. Breakfast had small sweets. TV and good Wi-Fi. Clean with big, thick towels. Many bars and shops nearby. Close walk to castle.

Fabulous property for group, nice twin rooms, clean, welcoming staff, convenient location near transport.

Everything was spot on.
